The lotus is the sacred flower in Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism.It is symbolic of purity of thought , word , deed and body.Just like the lotus blooms fresh and pure above muddy waters ( symbolizes worldly attachments ) , so should we strive towards truth and purity
